When people ask me what music stuff I’m up to, I tend to give the shortest possible answer, for fear of sounding like the kind of person who has 100 side projects that never really materialize. Which is not to say that’s not the kind of person I am, of course; I just don’t want to sound that way. The truth is that each of the five “bands” listed at right are part of my ongoing quest to make as much good music with as many great collaborators as possible. During what I will melodramatically call my wilderness years—no disrespect to Moses, et al—(2001-2004), I was desperately in search of a primary creative outlet. Now that I have one again, I see that those years were spent developing some very useful new tools. Hopefully some of this stuff will soon be ready to be released.
